as yet到这一时刻为止

此语用于否定句或疑问句中，表示“到这一时刻为止”，例如： As yet, there’s been no news.(到目前为止还没有消息。）此语的反义语为 not yet(尚未,还没有），多用于对疑问句的回答，例如： A: Would you care for something to eat? B： Not just yet, thank you. ( A:你要不要吃些东西？ B:谢谢你,这会儿还不饿。）在英语中也常用 up to一语来表示到什么时候为止,例如: up to now(到现在为止）。
